1997 Yamaha Vmax 1200. The manufacturing facility silver paint plan is a desirable and rare
color to have on these bikes as most of them are black. This one has low miles on it for its age, and has a few good upgrades to enhance the riding experience witch include a Yamaha mini wind deflector, KerKer 4 into 2 slip on exhaust. It also has a Dynomax Stage-1 jet kit with a drop-in K&N air filter. Essentially in a nut shell, its uncorked and seems like a Vmax needs to (cross in between a little block V8/top fuel dragster) its sounds indicate and with vboost, this bike is a straight line rocket. With that being said, this is not a novices bike, I really enjoy this bike, however I don't have the downtime anymore to enjoy it like I use too. (8 month old/4year old). Premium fuel is constantly utilized, Mobil-1 full synthetic motorcycle oil and manufacturing facility oil filter always made use of throughout service along with NGK spark plugs, this bike is always garaged. Since I have not been making use of the bike much, the last time I attempted to start it, it was cranking over on the slower side (could have the need for battery) and the starter made a disengagement type noise. From the online forums I check out online, a possible issue could be with the starter clutch bolts becoming loose due to a weak battery. I did charge the noise and the battery wasn't there anymore, but did return when the battery charge level dropped. I'm an honest individual and simply wanted to be in advance about this so theirs not a surprises. The last coupe times I did have the bike out, I did add a bottle of Seafoam to the fuel tank and filled w/premium each time. Its a good bike with a clean/clear AZ title in hand.
