I'm sure a 1991 Nighthawk 750 isn't high on any collector's list, at least not yet. There was nothing particularly special about these bikes and most of them were bought and used as tool for transportation. In reality this was a culmination of many years of refinement for the air cooled Honda 750 and these are exceptionally good motorcycles. They are reasonably fast, very comfortable and exceptionally well made. This one has been part of my collection since 1991. We collectors always like to know the story behind the bikes we buy if possible so here's the story as told to me when I bought this bike. The bike was purchased new in 1991 by the original owner. Not long after buying the bike he became ill and could no longer ride. He eventually died and his sister sold the bike as part of his estate. She said that he refused to give up the bike and kept it in his house until 2010. I'm the second owner. In my 40 years of buying and collecting motorcycles I've never come across one in this condition. You will need to look closely at the pictures and zoom in on the details. This motorcycle has not been restored or touched up in any way. It had 1920 miles on it when I bought it 12 years ago and now has 3074 miles. Take a close look at the bolts, engine cases, rear sprocket, fork legs, paint and instruments. It's incredible and appears just as it did on the showroom 32 years ago. It's still wearing the original tires and even they are in very good condition. They should be changed due to their age if you plan to ride the bike a lot but I've ridden it on short rides around my house since I've owned it with no problems. I've kept them on just to authenticate the originality and low miles. I have ridden the bike regularly on short 5 to 10 mile rides and serviced it regularly as well. It has recently had an oil and filter change and brake fluid flush and also has a lithium ion battery. It starts rides and runs as good as it looks and everything functions as it should. It needs nothing except tires if you plan to ride it long distances. If you click on the buy-it-now button I will ship the bike to you free of charge anywhere in the lower 48 states except Rhode Island and I'll also install a new set of tires if you want them. Keep in mind that there is no reserve and if anyone bids the buy-it-now option will go away. I've been on ebay for 23 years with a perfect feedback score and I've sold dozens of motorcycles from my collection so you can buy with confidence that there will be no surprises and that the bike is just as described. I am not a dealer, this bike is from my personal collection and I have a clear title in my name. Payment in full is due within 3 days after the end of the auction. Payment may be made by your choice of wire transfer, cashiers check, personal check or cash in person. Please feel free to call me at 22 or message me with any questions. Thanks for reading my long winded description and good luck if you decide to bid.
