1990 Manitou mountain bike built by Doug BradburyThe
bike is in good shape and ready to ride!
Lots of pictures attached.
I
own two Manitous of this era, and this one is too small for me, so I'm
letting it go.
Needs nothing but pedals to make it trail-worthy.There
is a small dent in the top tube - I tried to capture it in the
pictures.
It's on top near where the "M" in Manitou decal is on the
non-drive side picuture.The
size is medium: 17 in. center to center with a 23.5 in. effective top
tube.
Saddle height as pictured is 90cm (35.5 in.) from pedal spindle
to top of saddle.
I'm 6'1" and the bike is rideable but the larger size
fits way better.
This will fit someone closer to 5'10" (plus or minus a
bit).Doug Bradury was an early innovator of aluminum bikes. His used large diameter aluminum tubes to achieve rigid frames at a reasonable weight in order to improve bike handling. Only about 325 bikes were made prior to Doug selling his business to Answer Products.Components:Headset: Shimano XT - 1 in. threadedFront Derailler: Shimano XT (m735) w/ modified clampRear Derailler: Shimano XTRear Cogs: Shimano HG Cassette 14-32 7-speedHubs: Bullseye 115mm (front) / 145mm (rear)Rims: Campagnolo MiroxBrakes: Shimano XT canti (front) /Shimano XT u-brake (rear)Shifters: Shimano XT brake/shifter combo (m091)Cranks: Cook Bros Bottom Bracket: press-in - 135mm / 90mm shellBar: titanium (unbranbed)Stem: Manitou 1-inch quillSeat Post: Kingsbury 27.2mmSaddle: Selle Italia TurboI'd be happy to answer any questions or provide additional pictures.
