This 1989 Dodge RamCharger LE is a super clean and restored truck
that spent its life in California and Arizona. This was a clean,
low mileage truck before the last owner restored it to use as a
weekend fun toy and a vehicle he could take to car shows. The only
reason he sold it was because he got ill. The body on this
RamCharger is really clean and straight. It was professionally
repainted in its original colors of Chrysler Diamond Blue and
Twilight Blue Metallic. The paint still looks excellent and it is a
good looking truck! When it was restored they kept all of the
original chrome and trim because of how nice it was. The underside
of this truck is extra clean and the last owner painted it to
detail it out and it is not there to cover anything up. It is a
light layer and you can see how nice the undercarriage is. There
are no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is really nice and really clean. The front seat were
reupholstered and the door panels were restored as well. They put
in new carpet and a new headliner. The dash and dash bezel are
original and they were in great condition so he left them original.
The power windows and power locks are working. This truck has tilt
wheel and working cruise control. The headlights, taillights, brake
lights, and turn signals are all working. The horn and windshield
wipers are working. The heat works and the AC system is complete
but currently not blowing cold. It is a really nice interior on
this rig.
Mechanically this Dodge is excellent. The engine is the original
5.9L 360 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we
found. It has an aluminum Edelbrock Intake, Holley 4 Barrel Carb,
HEI Distributor, Mopar Valve covers, Powermaster Alternator, new
belts, new hoses, new radiator, new water pump, and a fresh
tune-up. The transmission is the 727 Automatic that shifts nice. It
is mated to the np241 transfer case and the 4WD works like it
should. The rear axle is the Chrysler 9.25 with 3.23 gears and a
factory limited slip. The front axle is a Dana 44 with 3.23 gears.
This rig also has 4 new shocks, new front brakes, and it was
upgraded to a Manual Differential Lock. This is sitting on a nice
set of aftermarket aluminum wheels with 31 Inch Bridgestone All
terrain tires. The original wheels will come with the vehicle.
