Please allow pictures inside listing to load. There are multiple detailed pictures following the listing description. This is a very solid and great running first year 1988 R100GS. I purchased the bike from the original owner in 2020 in Denver. I kept this bike at a friends in Fort Collins and have ridden this bike without any issues all over Colorado, Montana, Wyoming , and South Dakota. The bike is now at home with me in TN. It has been a rock solid bike and if I wasnt pressed for room I would not be selling the bike. I have the original sales receipt and several service tickets for the bike. Including a full transmission rebuild with circlip repair at 60k miles. I have the factory low fender as well as the mount for the high fender in the low position. There is a tank bag included thats seen better days but still functions fine. Ill also include a new set of tank decals as the ones on it have some issues. The factory smog components have been removed but are included with the sale as well as the oil filter guard. The bike has bumps and bruises associated with a bike of this age and mileage. Its been lovingly cared for by me and the original owner. The tank and front fairing has had some paint work but see no filler due to a driveway fall over according to the original owner. Other pieces may have been touched up as well. The corbin seat has been on the bike since almost new and I have the receipt for it. I do not have the factory blue seat but they are available used and new from aftermarket suppliers. The tires are new with less than 500 miles on them. The speedometer has been rebuilt recently at Joes Speedometer in CA. It quit working about 100 miles from home so it was sent out and redone. The bags have a few repairs from age cracks that were fixed with plastex and are solid and do not leak. The carbs have been rebuilt and synced. All fluid changes are up to date and I will change them prior to new ownership or provide them for the new owner so there is a fresh start upon delivery. There are a pair of bar risers installed for ergonomics but can easily be removed. it needs nothing to ride across the country that I know of other than fresh fluids. It really is a nice bike and I know I will regret letting it go but I have too many and 4 gs bikes currently. Please watch my auctions for some low mileage r80g/s bikes and a couple of pre 1970 R60/2s possibly coming up soon for auction. The bike does have a clean TN title in my name. $500 deposit is due immediately after auction ends. Payment to be made within 5 days by bank wire, cashiers check ( must clear my bank prior to pick up), or cash in person on pickup. Please look at the pictures below closely to see the true condition and ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Bike must be picked up within 3 weeks of auctions end unless worked out with me. I will help your shipper load the bike but shipping is the buyers responsibility.
