Intro
This is a 1988 BMW E30 M3 in Salmon Silver Metallic over Cardinal Red Bison Leather interior with the 2.3-liter S14 inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It is a four-owner car. It was purchased new in Denver in 1988, by an MD, then a local attorney, followed by a stockbroker whom the seller purchased from in 1998 in Colorado with the M3 showing 61k miles. The Carfax identifies an accident in 2012. Seller states it was a low-speed impact to the front bumper that was repaired for $900. The seller has owned the car for over 25 years, it has a clear title and is in Colorado.
Exterior
The exterior color is the factory original Salmon Silver Metallic with steering rack upgraded to a new Z4 unit for quicker response (original included). It has 16” x 7” 5-120 ET20 Rial Salern, SA 70620B92-8 Anthracite (CB 76.1) wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle Sport All Season tires 205/50 R16 87V front and rear (purchased 2015), with Bilstein HD shocks, and a sport exhaust. Exterior details include an electric sunroof, a rear spoiler, fog lights, painted mirror caps, twin exhaust outlets, and wider fenders compared to the standard E30. This M3 retains its factory OEM body tags and original paint except for the $900 front bumper repair in 2012 (invoice in photos) identified in Carfax.
Interior
The interior is upholstered in Cardinal Red Bison Leather with manually adjustable front sport seats. Amenities include an onboard computer, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, power windows, and air conditioning converted to R134a refrigerant. The three-spoke M-Tech steering wheel with a 160-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer, gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The odometer shows approximately 157,401 miles.
Mechanicals
This M3 has the 2.3-liter S14 inline-four factory-rated at 192 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It has been consistently well maintained including recent oil change (Motul). Major service includes front and rear main seals, timing chains, and updated cam sprockets (originals included). Seller states there are no leaks and full-service records included.

Summary
This 1988 BMW M3 was owned for over 25 years and extremely well maintained by a 40+ year BMW CCA member. It includes service records and five original M3 wheels: BBS 15” Basketweave, four center caps with remover tool (see supplemental pictures), wrapped in Nokian winter tires 195/60 R15 92 RXL. The fifth OEM wheel is in trunk (spare). All five wheels and tires are same dimensions (not staggered).
