1986 GT Performer Survivor! In rare pink with receipts. SEE PICS.
My childhood bike. Made in February 1986. Purchased in May 1986. Rode for about 2 summers, moved. Got a call from mom in college asking if I wanted to sell it for her church sale and I said sure. Fast forward 30 years. She never sold it! I grabbed it from her attic and she even had the receipt! Took it to a local bike shop to get it in nice riding condition.
Last year, the local bike shop (see receipt) put on some new Panaracer tires, new cables (ogs were worn and ugly), greased up the wheel bearings and tightened and greased the headset.
This bike is sweeet!
Very light wear considering age. I couldn't ride it often, and always kept in the house.
Fork standers were bought in 1986. Gen one.
Not without flaws. Several paint chips and some curb grind. As usual, OGK mags have slight warp. Please view all photos. No repairs.
No rotor ever came on bike. No kickstand or reflectors.
No handlebar pad. White foam pad under frame pad has small hole in it and has some duct tape on it.
I believe that the only thing not original are the brake cables and brake pads, handle grips, tires. I believe that it is the original chain but not certain.
Please view all of the photos and ask questions before bidding.
Please no negative comments.
Photos don't do justice. This rare bike is absolutely spectacular. Again not without flaws but who doesn't being 35+ years.
Bike is sold AS IS. No returns.
Ship to US only. No PO Box. Signature required at delivery. Will ship within 48-72 business hours after payment has been received.
Once you receive the shipment (nicely packaged with foam padding and bubble wrap), you will need to connect the seat post, handle bars, pedals, and front tire (facing forward like it is attacking).
Very important that these Panaracer tires (never used) fill to max 40 psi to not stress the OGKs.
Once in a lifetime opportunity. Ironclad.
Thank you, and happy holidays to all!!
