DESCRIPTION:
CJ7 in good condition. Please note, while this Jeep originally had the 4.2L 258 engine, it no longer does. It was replaced with a rebuilt ~79 AMC 304 V8. The Good: Rebuilt AMC 304 V8 Rebuilt T176 4sp Transmission Rebuilt D300 Transfer Case Crabtree Tool & Die Front Spring hangers 33" MasterCraft Courser MT on 15x8 Ion Alloy 174 85 Jeep J20 Steering Gear Hardtop, Softtop (works but old), Full steel doors (need repair/finishing) w/ push vent window, full fabric 2 piece doors, 2 extra full steel door shells (needs most of the parts to finish; non-pushout vent window style) Hedman Headers fenderwell exit into Magnaflow glasspacks (sounds awesome) Custom rear bumper with swingout carrier, w/ spare 33" All gauges work including OEM Temp and Fuel! - after putting in the 304 I havent hooked up the oil pressure gauge permanently, its there though. Ignition system replaced with a MSD 6A and a GM HEI distributer (done correctly!) - Will need a set of plug wires custom made. One piece Alloy USA rear axles New rear axle seals Optima Yellow Top battery A/C - not hooked up, needs a dryer and condensor. It has the compressor, evap unit (installed) and the hoses. The Bad: Small exhaust header gasket leak (ill probably have this fixed soon; the Percy gaskets are on backorder) Heater core needs replacing (I have re-routed the radiator hoses to bypass the heater core; this may get replaced soon as well) Paint...my intentions were to paint the CJ last spring but didnt get around to it, the previous owners attempt at a repaint to factory original color was not prepped correctly. There are signs of bubbling near the rockers. Nothing is through the metal. I have sanded one spot and put primer on it. Its going to need a paint job soon. All the weather seals need replacing, if you repaint, youll do this anyway as was my intention. Price is $9000 o.b.o. - please dont try and low ball, these Jeeps are getting harder to find not cut up or rust buckets.
