1985 Honda XR350R. Fully restored. Asking $5,000, Located in CT.Up for sale is my 1985 Honda XR 350R. I’ve had this bike for almost 10 years. This was a many year long project for me and it pains me to put it up for sale but I just don’t have the time or space. I'd like to sell it to someone who will use it in the way it deserves and will take care of it. I have receipts for over $3500 worth of machine shop work and parts alone plus thousands of dollars in other miscellaneous nick-nacks. This bike is 99% complete and I dare you to find another one for sale in the same shape for less.Pros.-Bored to first oversize with new Wosner high compression piston and rings.-Restored head including honed and polish valve seats and valves-All new internal bearings-All new gaskets and seals-ORIGINAL HONDA DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER only made from 84-85 (good luck finding another one of those for under $1000)-New Barnett clutch pack with high performance high compression springs.-Repainted frame (there are a few scratches currently., but I do have a touch pen that will be included)-Rebuilt shocks front and rear.-Rebuilt carburetor-New chain-Tires do have tons of tread left (but they are a bit old.)-Completely rebuilt braking system with new pistons, seals, pads, and steel braided lines.-Recovered seat-Refurbished wiring harness-New air filter-New exhaust gaskets-Tons of other odds and ends, seals and etcPrice includes other misc spare parts as well as official shop manual and ORIGINAL owners manual from 1985.Consright side plastic could use a new decalMissing exhaust header heat shieldTheres no reason this bike wont last for another 40 years if properly maintained. There isn’t a single nut, bolt or screw that I personally haven’t cleaned, repaired, or replaced. There isn’t even 100 miles on on the newly overhauled engine and still is in the break in phase.
