I bought this bike in 2016 as a bike I was planning to make into a race bike, but never got around to it. I decided it was time to get this bike together, and thin the herd. Nice very original low hour bike, nice rare model. I dressed it up as a sort of David Bailey lookalike, without the unobtanium works parts. ;).75 overbore w/ fresh Wiseco pistonRebuilt rear shockNew tiresVintage Answer PipeNew DG SilencerVintage CEET seat coverVapor blasted original Keihin carbnew radiatorsNew OEM front fenderOEM side panels, rad shrouds, and tankMaier rear fenderFreshened forks with new gaitersVintage (used) Acerbis fork and disc guardsnew front calipervapor blasted and sealed water pump section of clutch cover w/ all OEM partsPlus probably a bunch of other things I can't think of right now. I finished this bike last spring, and attempted to sell it here, but had no payers, and lookie-loos trying to low ball me. This is a nice bike; perfect for the man cave, or a trip around the yard once in a while. The float level SHOULD be tweaked, as the bowl does leak a little bit when the petcock is on. Bike runs really great. I've gone through two heat cycles, and should get another before you really let it rip. Suspension is stock, but freshened, and wouldn't be suitable for racing IMO. Suspension should get tailored springs and setup for racing. Video is of bike fresh out of storage, not having ran for a year. Once bike was run and warm, it starts first kick. Not a Mecum resto, but a super nice bike. Very tight. No title, but I'll make a legit bill of sale with frame numbers etc. Happy to help with delivery arrangements, etc. Feel free to contact me with questions BEFORE Bidding!
