I didn't think I'd ever sell this car. I've owned it for about 10 years and have put quite a bit of work into it. It looks and works well for a 30+ year old car, but does have some problems that I haven't had time or funds to fix (mostly the time part). I have used it fairly regularly, although in the last year or two I have started using some of my other cars more, hence the reason for selling it is that I have too many cars. I will do my best to describe everything, but I'm sure I will forget some things. Please contact me to arrange to come check it for yourself before buying. Anyway I'll start with what has been repaired or replaced. Since I have had it it has had the following:
Rebuilt Transmission (about 25,000+ miles ago)
New Front Tires (less than 1000 miles on them)
New Chrome Replica Rims (about 8 years ago)
New Clear Turn Signals and Tail Lights (about 4 years ago)
4 Wheel Alignment
New Control Arms and Numerous Suspension Bushings (3 or 4 years back)
New Brakes (Pads, Rotors, and Calipers) (a few years ago)
Added Electric Fuel Pre-Pump and Washable Pre-Filter
Fuel Injector Nozzles Replaced and Injection Pressure Adjusted
Headlight Hi/Low Turn Signal Combination Switch Replaced
Now for the problems list:
Needs re-painted, or at least some touch-ups and a good buffing
Drivers seat has a broken spring on the left side (very common problem on these)
Drive shaft vibration at speeds over 55 (probably needs balanced)
Slight engine vibration at idle (looks like a motor vibration damper mount bushing is bad)
Small oil leak near turbo (looks like the oil return hose)
HVAC system vents are not switching properly (always diverts heat or air conditioning to defrost vents)
Rear window defroster not working
Vacuum locks not all working properly
These are what I can remember, but there should probably be some more things on both the good and bad list. So please inspect the car for yourself. I have really enjoyed having this car. It is such a nice, relaxing car to drive, and I wish I could keep it. But I would rather it have a good home where someone else will get to enjoy it and finish some of the things it still needs. If you need additional pictures or information please contact me.
