1983 BMW R80/RT. Airhead. Survivor. Has had the same elderly owner for over 20 years. Original condition with clear Ohio title in my name. 116k original miles.  The machine presents well for rider quality with an original look some may call patina. Nothing perfect or show quality. Some paint fade as seen. No rash but has fallen over with light wear on either side of upper faring. No egregious damage to upper. The Side stand has been modified as seen to provide a more extreme angle to prevent tip over. The center stand is present. The original seat looks good with no rips or tears. The machine starts easily and runs well although battery is undersized. No unusual sounds. No smoke or leaks. The speedometer and tachometer work. Head light, tail light and brake light work. The clock keeps accurate time and the volt meter works. All lights in indicator panel work. The original folding key is present. The gas tank is clean inside. Oem paint presents well for rider quality.  The rear tire is new. The front tire is old but holds air and has tread. The front brake system has been cleaned and flushed. The rear brake functions well. Has unique rear rack with articulation. The bags have light fade but no rash or egregious damage. All keys included. The oem windshield is intact with wear commensurate with age and use. Turn signals work but do not flash other than manual operation(prob flasher or relay). Both oem mirrors intact with no rash. Exhaust sounds good with no rash. Overall this is a good survivor, rider quality machine. No immediate needs are necessary but is a vintage machine. No warranties expressed written or implied on the 40 year old vehicle.  Caveat emptor.
