1982 Honda CB650 Custom Chopper
I bought this in 2005 from a hot rod shop in Mississippi. I am quoting from the builders description:
This is one bad a** Honda chopper, not for the faint or weak of heart. It started out as a 1982 Honda CB 650. We have stretched the frame by about 3 feet and made it into a hard tail. The neck has been racked hard. It has a custom built gas tank, springer seat pan, custom battery box, rear fender, frame and a new chain.
The wiring is completely done and will only need a little touch up and wire loom to finish it out right. The front end is air over hydraulic shocks, which work but will need to have new seals installed.
The only thing the bike needs to finish it out is the starter drive re-worked and tail and head lights put on.
My opinion is somewhat different:
I have never started it. I would never start it. Even with the tires fully inflated (the front one is dry-rotted), the thing only sits 2 off the ground. I have no experience with bikes, but logic suggests that you will go flying the first time you hit a speed bump!
I cannot judge the condition of the engine since I have never started it. Id recommend that you bring a battery, if you are interested in firing her up.
I should have returned it to the seller, but it just looked too cool to give up. I am now tired of looking at it :((
Sold with Bill of Sale only. First $1500 (firm) takes it. Please call or text Don () if interested.
