1981 Federal Duck Stamp Print, Ruddy Ducks by John Wilson, 1 Professionally Framed, 1 in the Original Folio

　　I am liquidating a lifetime of Duck Stamp prints in the hope that someone will get to enjoy them as much as I have.

　　The framed one was done professionally with acid free materials. They were originally purchased by me when they became available in 1982.

　　For your consideration is a rare and seldom offered 1981 Federal Duck Stamp and Print painted by wildlife artist John S. Wilson called "Ruddy Ducks".

　　The original art depicts a pair of beautiful Ruddy Ducks in the water. This design was chosen from open national competition out of 1507 entries.

　　The stamp was printed in full color. The print is a 6.5 x 9 four color photo lithography with special lite - fast inks on white cover stock.

　　John S. Wilson also is the winner of the 1979 and 1981 South Dakota pheasant stamp contests.

　　Includes the Flyer that advertises the print.

　　Unfortunately John Wilson just died on November 16, 2011.

　　The value of his work will go up dramatically since there will be no more of his great art work and no longer a way to have anything signed.

　　CURRENT MARKET EVALUATION IS:

　　$165 to $275 for an unframed print with stamp

　　(both being in perfect condition)

　　Add $70 to $100 for a Signed, Mint Stamp with his recent death

　　Add Cost to duplicate extensive matting & framework,

　　estimated at $165 today.

　　I have priced these prints for a quick, yet reasonable selling prices;

　　The framed print at $ 225

　　The UN-framed print in the folio at $ 175 because of the signed stamp

　　I came to this conclusion after consulting with numerous Wildlife Print dealers and what they were asking for one IF they had it to sell.

　　If not, it was their professional opinion. Also took into consideration what it would cost to do the framing that was done to the framed print.

　　We live in Bear, Delaware and I am willing to meet someone in person to deliver the picture for a Flat Fee of $25.

　　This would include; most of Delaware, Eastern & Northeast Maryland, SouthEast PA, South Jersey.
