　　This 1979 10th Anniversary Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was sold New

　　at Weidner Pontiac in Mansfield, Ohio. It is powered by its

　　matching-numbers original 6.6-liter V8 engine paired with a 3-speed

　　automatic transmission. This is one of 5,683 Collector's Edition

　　Trans Ams built in 1979 with the 403ci V8 and Automatic

　　Transmission. They were chosen to pace the Daytona 500 in 1979. All

　　10th Anniversary Edition Trans AM come completely Loaded with every

　　option available. This includes the very desirable WS6 package,

　　including 4-wheel disc brakes. This one-family-owned car has been

　　properly preserved and stored since it was new. The original owner

　　was a GMAC employee who won the opportunity to purchase this car in

　　the office lottery. After purchasing the car, she enjoyed it on

　　rare occasions and parked it in 1981. This well-documented car was

　　purchased on May 15, 1979, for $10,762.55, which includes the GMAC

　　employee discount. It comes with its original window sticker,

　　dealer invoice, Owners Manual, Warranty and Purchase contracts from

　　the original dealer.

　　This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary has only 782 actual

　　miles.

　　Did you know NFL great, Terry Bradshaw, the MVP of the 1979 NFL

　　Super Bowl was awarded a 1979 Trans AM 10th Anniversary Trans AM

　　just like this one. That is another reason that these cars are so

　　collectible.

　　These were the first Trans AM's to be priced with a MSRP over

　　$10,000. These cars only came one way and that was loaded. So every

　　available option is there. Tilt, Cruise, Power Windows, Locks and a

　　unique one year only Interior. These are the only 2nd Gen

　　Firebird's to get a Leather Interior. It was same Silver leather

　　used in the 1978 Corvette Pace Car. These unique cars included the

　　WS6 handling package and added 4 wheel disc brakes. It was the

　　first year this was an option on a Trans AM. All of this adds up to

　　one of the most prized Trans AM's you can own. There is no shortage
