　　to original - The first-generation Range Rover was produced between

　　1970 and 1996, initially only available in a 2-door body. Unlike

　　other 4x4s, it was not designed as a luxury vehicle, but was still

　　up-market compared to preceding Land Rover models. The early Range

　　Rovers had basic, utilitarian interiors with vinyl seats and

　　plastic dashboards designed for easy cleaning with a hose. Later

　　convenience features such as power steering, air conditioning, and

　　wooden interior trim were added. The Range Rover's body-on-frame

　　design used coil springs, four-wheel drive, and four-wheel disc
