Privet Comrades! This is a nice example of a Soviet made motorcycle (Ukrainian edition of the Russian Ural (which is a borrowed design from the BMW boxer engine)). This MT10 was sourced, purchased, partially restored, mechanically overhauled and then imported to the Land Where Freedom Rings.
The Russian battery crapped out last fall and I replaced it with a nice, new, sealed, heavy duty, 12volt battery. When primed according to Soviet standards, she will start with 1-2 kicks. It'll run and ride, but I've only ridden it locally; I'm no carb expert, but it will need some fine tuning before heading out on any 2-3 person road trips.
I've searched the USofA for another one like this for sale and, well, I can't. There are other Urals/Dneprs in the States, but most came over after the iron curtain came down. It's hard to put a value on this novel beast. But it looks cool, sounds good, and is a ton of fun. Please feel free to email, call or text message me at 484 xx 372
