This listing is for a beautiful 1979 R80/7. Only 39k miles on the odometer. It is in great mechanical condition and was fully serviced by a vintage motorcycle shop in Chattanooga. This is not an exhaustive list but the following was part of the service and restoration. All parts were bought new from reputable bmw parts suppliers. The 32mm bing carbs rebuilt and ultrasonic cleaned, new jets, gaskets, orings. Fully cleaned, synced, and tuned. The master cylinder and front brake caliper were rebuilt with new seals, pistons, boots and pads. The steering head bearings were replaced. All of the following were also replaced with new parts - starter relay, intake boots, fuel lines, air filter and housing, clutch needle bearing and seal, clutch cable, throttle cable, battery (Yuasa), spark plugs, mirrors, and turn signal seals. The tires are brand new Metzeler Roadtecs with less than 100 miles on them. Cosmetically it has a few small blemishes here and there, but overall its in really great shape. See photoa. It is a super reliable motorcycle with absolutely no issues. It runs and rides very smoothly and feels extremely planted on the road.
