According to my deceased husband, he bought the car from the British Consulate in New York before we met.
The car was for Princess Margaret to use when she visited Manhattan. She picked the color which was a dark green and pewter mix. She liked the two-tone look. In the back was a mirror so she could check her hair and make-up in private. She had a special foot rest made for her. The floor mats were a mink/sheepskin as she liked to take her shoes off after a long day shopping. It had a oversized trunk as she liked to shop.
The grain of the interior wood-English Walnut- is an exact match on both sides of the car, so if there's a little swirl on the left car door, for example, the same swirl is on the right.
Above the front windshield is the dazzling Gold Crest of the royal family, complete with a unicorn and lion.
Only known problems is a slight oil leak and A/C needs to be recharged as it doesn't blow cold air.
