1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport         frame # CB400F-2007201                               You are bidding on a used (for parts or rebuild) 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport (4-cylinder) motorcycle. Bike was traded into our dealership back in 1996 with our intention to clean & rebuild the carbs, repair the front brakes, install a new battery, and do some other minor misc work before putting it on the market to resell. Unfortunately, the lack of free time & other projects in our shop never allowed for that to happen, so the bike sat. After 25+ years little has changed with our lack of time and to add to our work load we are now downsizing and just do not have the time or energy to do a full restoration we decided to find this bike a good home where it will be appreciated as intended so it can be restored and put back into circulation. The original owner rode the bike through the 70s & 80s but in lost interest in road riding so he parked it in1987 where it had sat until he got the bug to ride again in 1996 and traded it in to us. The motor turns over and it shifts through the gears but due to the time it has sat it is highly recommended that a complete rebuild be done before attempting to start. Bike is complete as shown with no known aftermarket parts added. It has the original 4 into 1 exhaust, gas tank paint finish is very good with no dents or dings, all lights are intact, rims are straight, and much more.Bike was stored inside in a controlled temperature but over the years minor pitting has developed on some of the chrome pieces, unfortunately the inside of the gas tank will need some TLC. Buyer will receive a clear transferable NYS title, bill of sale, and any other documents that NYS DMV may requires. Due to the length of time the bike has been sitting and is not currently running it will be sold AS-IS with no implied warranty. If you are a NYS resident it is mandatory that sales tax must be added & collected at the time of purchase.    All shipping arrangements & payments are the responsibility of the buyer. Due to the cost of shipping and if possible it is recommended that the buyer pick-up the bike in Syracuse, NY.
