I bought this 1975 Kawasaki H1F about 4 years ago specifically to break the AMA Land Speed Record at Bonneville. I did break the record then stored the bike without starting or riding for 4 years. After deciding to sell it, I added gas, oil, sprayed some starting fluid into the air cleaner and it started right up. Then I replaced the battery and chain. The seller I bought it from was a Kawasaki Triple restorer and the bike was delivered to me in great, running condition. Along the way I replaced both tires, added a smaller rear sprocket, replaced ignition with Lakeland CDI unit, coated the gas tank with clear Caswell clear epoxy coating, repainted the gas tank to original colors. I have kept all the parts I replaced and will include them. I never got a title from the seller or applied for a bonded title, I just got a bill of sale when I purchased it, so that is how I will sell it. The bike has a slow dripping leak at the bottom of the engine. I can't see where it is coming from. It smokes more than it did before storage so the automatic oil injection may need adjustment. Spokes have some darkening from rust. Video of start-up. I forgot to put the key in the ignition and expected it to start! 1975 Kawasaki H1 Start UpVideo will open in a new windowThe bike is available locally for inspection in Spokane, WA 99208.
