Selling 1974 Norton Commando 850 in really good initial condition, 5052 miles, this beautiful bike begins second or first kick with the initial points. It was never taken apart, rebuilt or customized but the previous owner cut the front of the fender. This Norton survivor looks and runs excellent, pulls strong in all equipments and does not wet sump or leak any oil! (really). Original motor with RH10 head (one busted fin on left side), Amal carbs, peashooters (likewise original), there are no reproduction parts on this bike whatsoever. Wheels are OEM WM-19 Dunlops with EXTREMELY small surface rust in a few areas, barely noticeable but there. Spokes are initial wire with some deterioration on a few nipples. Tires are Dunlop front and Avon rear in fantastic shape. Electrical system is completely functional, hi/low beam, tail/brake light horn and dashboard lights. The harness wires are not damaged and adapters are excellent, harness has been taped in some areas, most likely since of shabby housing. Seat has a tear on left side and there are also some scratches on speedo housing and head light rim. Both tach and speedo work however not accurate they reveal an approximation of speed and RPM.
