1974 Honda CR 250 Restoration. This restoration started with a very original bike that I purchased about 10 years ago. It has never been raced, but it was started and ridden off road for about 20 minutes. My goal was to go through the bike and make it a vintage racer. The carburetor was rebuilt, and I purchased an NOS stator before changing corse and deciding to do a complete restoration. The bike has not been started or had fuel since completion. The tank was in decent shape and was restored by Joe Abbate. Paint work was handled by Brian Fedigan. The decision was made to retain the original seat, since it was in excellent original condition. Note that there is a very small tear at the left rear corner. Reproduction seat covers do not have the same grain pattern as the original vinyl, so the decision was made to retain the OEM seat. The new owner could easily replace the seat cover if desired. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.Additional aspects of this restoration includes a long list of NOS, and restored OEM parts.NOS parts:Throttle cableFront brake cableClutch cableRear brake pedalFront + rear spokes and nipplesHand gripsBrake + clutch leversIgnition statorRear sprocket + tab washersSteering stem rubber plugKill switchRear axel + nutSwing arm pivot bolt + nutChain adjuster boltsFront number plate strapShock spring protectorsCable strapsB/C lever boltsB/C lever adjustersSwingarm Bolt + nutRear axle + nutSilencer to pipe connectorFront mudflap screwsHandlebar clamp boltsOil filler capCarburetor intake pipeMiscellaneous bolts/nutsRestored + aftermarket parts:SeatFront + side number platesFront + rear fendersFront fender mudflapFuel tankVintco rear brake cableForks + shocksFront + rear rims
