This bike has lived it's whole life in New Mexico (dry climate).I am the third owner having squirted it from a gentleman who bought it from the original owners estate in Albuquerque. This bike needs nothing. New battery, new tires, recently serviced (oil filter). It starts up easily and idles nicely. No smoke. Pulls strong. The only real flaws are BB sized ding on the front fender - see picture with screwdriver pointer and flaking clear coat on the top of the tank. The rest of the paint is in very nice condition. Perhaps an expert can polish out or touch up the clear coat. The ding could carefully be tapped out from under the fender. I have just left everything as it was found.Chrome is great and the all important ORIGINAL pipes have NONE of the typical rust that occurs underside by the drip holes or joints. The engine cases are still untarnished and look great. The seat is flawless with no rust on the pan and its the rare one year only proper single seam seat.It comes with the owners manual still under under the seat and the full factory tool kit. This bike was cared for its entire life. I have not even detailed the bike, so with a bit of polish this thing will be stunning.I'm thinning my collection to free up garage space and I focus mainly on vintage European bikes so it made the choice to sell my only Japanese bike easier. Please ask questions. All sales are final and the bike is sold as-is where is. This is a 50 year old bike, and like me, anything can fail or go wrong with it. It can provide years of trouble free joy or leave you stranded tomorrow. I personally would not hesitate to take this bike on long journeys but I always travel prepared.I can hold the bike upwards of 3 weeks but full payment is required. I will be traveling end of June through mid July and if you want to pick it up in that window of time I can arrange a shop to store it and meet the trucker....or you. Santa Fe is a tourist destination and beautiful place to visit - make a long weekend out of picking up the bike.
