1973 Honda CB500 Four-cylinder, recently completed frame-off restoration. Beautifully done and ready to ride.Paint redone in Silver Metallic, frame powder coated, Engine bored and balanced... this bike ZIPS and has eyes turning everywhere it goes.Project started as a basket case many years ago, and progressed as funds were made available. Nuts and bolts bought from Honda by the basket load. Paint on tank/side covers/headlight done right. New boots on top of polished forks. All bearings lovingly disassembled, cleaned, lubed and tightened. New cables at every corner. Look at the pics, see the shiny parts in every corner.Carbs were replaced with a junkyard set found years ago... the nicest set of carbs I have seen since the '80s. Ignition updated with Electronic Dyna Ignition and Coils. New chain and sprockets. Charging system updated with modern components to strengthen the somewhat weak 50 year old stuff. New clutch and..... you get the idea, this thing has been gone throughSomewhere along the way the idea of making it perfectly stock was tossed and tasteful improvements were made... speedo/tach are modern units along with turn signals. Taillight replaced with LED unit. Seat recovered (seat pan was powdercoated too) and trim blacked out before install. Nothing too flashy but the results are impressive. Original exhaust was long gone before this project started so a nice sounding 4-into-1 was installed. Sounds niiiiiiceClean GA title, a rare thing to go with this jewel.
