1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Easy Restored Convertible Triple Black.
55,000 Miles, only one owner. From 1972 until now.
A really nice original car with some restoration work. The interior is all original and in excellent shape. Factory buckets console car.
In 2005, approx 3000 miles ago the complete suspension was rebuilt, front and rear...car drives dead straight and has a brand new set of BFGoodrich Radial T/As on it (2016 date coded tires).
Also, the engine was completely rebuilt by Book Racing to stock specs with a bit of a cam. This is the original, born with 350 4 BBL, she runs great, does not leak anything. Drives down the freeway at 80mph no problem.
The transmission is also the original, a TH-350 which was rebuilt with a shift kit in 2005 as well by BB Performance Transmission.
Top was also new at that time and will come with a new zipper style rear window.
The rear end was also serviced and the brakes were also completely rebuilt.
The car, having beautiful sheetmetal, excellent trunk and pans was repainted in around 2006, with the body cladding removed, good choice, looks better this way.
The bumpers are re chromed originals.
The car has Power steering, Power brakes, Sport Wheels, Sport Mirrors,
Buckets, Console, etc.
A really nice car that is just screaming for a OAI W-25 Hood, they make them now for 800 dollars with the metal underlay. Ive purchased a few and the fitment exceeds the OEM hoods.
This car has 13 year old paint that shows very well, the car is very straight, and the paint was not a inexpensive endeavor...very nice job.
I have been collecting vintage cars for many years, and it is time to let some go.
