This fully restored real 1972 American Motors Javelin SST ADPS 401

　　Alabama Police Special is powered by a factory 8-cylinder 401hp 4V

　　engine with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished

　　in a beautiful two-tone Admiral Blue and Stardust Silver exterior

　　paint with a matching blue interior. During this Javelin's full

　　restoration, many NOS parts were used, bringing the car to its

　　current original state. This is car #97 out of 135 built for the

　　Alabama State Police during the years 1971-72. It is one of 62

　　built for 1972; 12 were silver, eight unmarked and 42 were two-tone

　　blue/silver. Very few of these cars still exist today, even fewer
