　　Le Mans Sport convertible for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom.

　　While the Pontiac GTO gets all the accolades and high selling

　　prices to go along with the hoopla, truth be told, its sibling, the

　　LeMans is basically the same car. The LeMans is a great alternative

　　to spending tens of thousands on a GTO, as both cars share the same

　　sheet metal, interior components, and most mechanical parts. The

　　1968 to 1972 LeMans models are among the best-looking Pontiacs ever

　　manufactured and are quite plentiful, with nearly 673,000

　　built.

　　The interior is covered in black vinyl from the door panels to the

　　seats, which are buckets with adjustable headrests in front and

　　clean rear bench. The door panels are finished in black vinyl as

　　well and are in very good condition. These nicely preserved seats

　　are floating in a sea of black unfaded carpet. The gauges are

　　original, tachometer does not work. It features a Retro Sounds

　　radio. The new white vinyl top with a glass rear window really

　　makes this beauty pop.

　　This Pontiac features a vibrant teal exterior which covers straight

　　steel panels. Everything about this car is straight and true.

　　Bumpers and all chrome are in excellent condition. Above the front

　　bumper is a split grille which has the Pontiac beak and is flanked

　　by dual headlights with shiny bezels. Moving to the rear we see

　　inset taillights in the bumper and more straight steel for the rear

　　quarters and trunk lid.

　　As the hood opens, we see a Pontiac 400 V8 that has been freshened

　　up with a mild cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and an Edelbrock

　　carb sending power to a three-speed automatic and 10-bolt rear end

　　with a new gas tank and FloMaster dual exhaust. She rolls on US MAG

　　rims with 245/45ZR18 front and 275/40ZR18 on the rear.

　　This beautiful driver starts right up and has great acceleration,

　　cruises nicely, great brakes and cold AC. A truly wonderful example

　　of a LeMan's Sport. A nice paint job, new white canvas convertible
