This is a 1971 Pontiac Firebird Formula Tribute Car, it was a Esprit Model with a 400CI motor and three speed automatic transmission, the car was in Texas when I purchased it. The motor has been rebuilt around 1 year ago and head a mild street cam added, HD valves and springs and rockers added and a 200R transmission added along with the factory Posi-traction rear gone through and freshened up. The interior had been upgraded with new replica seat skins and plastics.
I bought the car and decided to make it a long distance drivers car, so with that in mind, I stripped the factory wiring out of it, added a new American wiring harness, removed the factory A/C and put in a Vintage Air kit, added LED headlights and taillights, upgraded radiator and transcooler, Hotchkis tubular A-arms up front with swaybars & QA1 coilover shocks and Wilwood disk Brakes Front and rear with new brake lines, Hotchkis frame connectors, Hotchkis rear springs and QA1 shocks, American racing 20" rims with performance tires & all new steering box and steering linkages, on the engine I added a March Front Runner Pulley System, Edelbrock intake with a Holley Sniper EFI complete system with Holley in tank Fuel Pump, new Holley 19 gallon fuel tank, all new HP fuel lines, spark box and coilpack and distributor, A Holley electronic Dash and Programmer. I also added a replica RamAir intake air cleaner and opened up the factory Formula hood scoops with grills. New windshield and rear glass, Dynamatted the interior and put in new carpet and seat belts, A Double Din stereo with Sirus / XM radio and Navigation with Blue tooth and car play. The dash has been customized with billet hidden cup holders and a new dash cap. There are ceramic coated hooker headers with spintech mufflers, All the gauges work as they should, turn signals, lights , horn, etc.
I had decided to have the car re-sprayed the factory color to freshen up the appearance, but my painter got delayed , so I decided to do a WWII themed fighter plane wrap on the car... it DRAWS ALOT of Attention everywhere we go. The wrap can be removed, the body has no rust, but it will need to be painted since the body had been scotch brighted and sanded in many spots in preparation to be painted. I am open to any fair offer, no trades and I am willing to help with delivery or shipping as far as making the car easily accessible for pickup. I will include photos of the way the car looked when I purchased it and then how it looks now as well. The car has approximately 900 miles on the total car after the rebuild at my shop at home.
I'll be glad to answer any questions and I'm sure I have left some things out , but the car is a very good driver and is tons of fun to show, I just have too many projects going on, and I need to make some space in my shop.
