The bike had a mild restoration in the 1990's, with a re-plated frame, re-laced and re-plated Rickman wheel, repainted glasswork. Comes with the left side red number plate too. During that time it was owned and ridden by Mike Smith the president of the Norton Club 1, sold after his death in a car accident. Lasty, this model is the first Rickman frame to use a single-down tube design, reportedly due to the side-port exhaust of the Montesa engine. This correct Rickman frame is 40 lbs lighter than the Husky or CZ... After purchase, in 2005, she was run/ridden then, was wiped down and then parked, all the fluids drained and stored in heated garage ever since.
