  1971 Honda CB750 K1

  Complete professional nut and bolt restoration by Spike’s

  Vintage Motorsports.

  Frame, swing arm, motor mounts, seat pan, speedometer and

  tachometer outer cases, tool case bracket, rear turn signal mounts, driver and

  passenger peg mounts, upper and lower triple trees and clamps, air cleaner box

  stays, and the inner front disc were professionally prepped and painted gloss

  black.

  Fuel tank, side covers, upper fork ears, and headlight

  bucket were professionally prepped and painted in the correct Honda Valley Green

  Metallic paint. New tank decals applied.

  New handlebars, both gauges were refreshed and refaced. New

  grips, mirrors, throttle and clutch cables.

  Front brake master cylinder, front brake caliper and center

  stand were prepped and powder coated gloss black. Rebuilt master cylinder and brake

  caliper. Replaced brake pads, brake fluid and seals. New Progressive fork

  springs, fork seals and 20w fork oil. New spokes and nipples on front wheel.

  All Balls tapered steering stem bearings installed.

  Motor disassembled. All transmission parts inspected and

  found to be like new. Piston to cylinder clearance checked, cylinders honed and

  new rings installed. Valves removed, seats and valves lapped and checked for

  sealing. Installed new valve guide seals and sealing rubbers on cylinder head.

  All new gaskets and seals. New NGK spark plugs. New oil and oil filter.

  Cylinder, cylinder head, upper and lower crankcases, oil

  filter cover, breather cover, and oil pan were prepped and professionally

  painted in the correct Honda Cloud Silver. Valve cover, tappet adjuster covers,

  dyno cover, mission and sprocket covers, and inner clutch cover all polished to

  mirror finish. Four new header / mufflers installed.

  Carbs completely disassembled, ultrasonic cleaned, all jets

  and passages cleaned out. Float bowl settings checked and set, carbs

  reassembled with Honda carb rebuild kits and bench sync’d. New dust covers

  installed. Final synchronizing done with vacuum gauges and running motor.

  New OEM rear fender, new rear shock absorbers, new spokes

  and nipples, new rear wheel bearings, new swing arm bushings and seals, new

  chain and adjusters. Seat pan prepped and painted. Seat recovered, new AGM maintenance

  free battery installed with Optimate pig tail included. Optimate 3 battery

  charger / maintainer included in the sale.

  Over 6 months to restore with $ 10K+ in parts and paint.

  18,085 miles when rebuild started. We put 200+ miles since restoration

  completion. Bike has been stored in a climate controlled environment with REC

  90 ethanol free fuel.

Deposit is required within 24 hours. Payment: We accept cash, bank check, personal check, wire transfer or credit card as payment for the balance due on the motorcycle purchase. No exceptions on holds or delivery.If you are picking up the motorcycle in person, we will accept cash. We will not accept the balance of the payment for the vehicle through PayPal.Shipping: The buyer is responsible for selecting and arranging shipment of the vehicle. The vehicle is stored in a climate controlled environment in Canton, Ohio and is available for pickup during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, excluding holidays.  There is no loading dock available.Title: current title is clean, no liens and titled to Spike's Vintage Motorsports. Once funds have cleared, purchase documents have been signed and notarized, and all taxes and fees have been paid the title will be delivered to the buyer. Documentation fees: There are no additional doc fees for this transaction. All title change fees will be paid by the Seller.Tax: The State of Ohio collects sales tax upon title transfer for several states. Those taxes are payable at the time of title transfer and determined by the Buyer's location. The Seller is required to state the actual purchase price of the vehicle on title application documents. Viewing the motorcycle prior to purchase: Seller will permit the Buyer or Agent of the Buyer to inspect the vehicle at the storage location with prior arrangement.
