1971 Buick Skylark GS Buick combined these two series into one for
1971. These muscular Buicks had blacked-out grilles and bright
trim, bright wheelhouse moldings and bright rocker panel moldings
with red-filled accents. Dual, functional hood scoops were ahead of
the windshield. GS monograms appeared on the front fenders, deck
and hood. Standard equipment was the same as the Skylark Custom,
but bucket or notchback front seats, in all-vinyl trim were

This is a true GS, model number 43437, in addition, the drivetrain
is numbers matching. Specifications were the same as listed for the
1971 Skylark 350 CI V-8 except brake horsepower was 260 and a
four-barrel carbureted V-8 with dual exhaust was used. Not sure
you?d ever find one this nice. This is a solid, rust-free example
that?s in amazing condition with all the right equipment and great
colors. Cold factory air conditioning, power steering, power
brakes, drivers remote control mirror, new custom Auto Sound sound
system, and more. Riding on a set of chrome Buick OEM road wheels
mounted on BFG radial T/A?s Exterior is hard to find fault with
paint code# 24 ?Cascade Blue Poly ?with a contrasting white vinyl
top. Car is striking, inside is close to new, Strato bucket seat
car with full consol, seats have been freshly reupholstered as
well. Comes with the original build sheet, all kinds of owner?s
manual, warranty documents, which appear to be original.
