This 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda is a real R-code HEMI, one of 652 hardtop
HEMI 'Cudas made. This HEMI was professionally restored with some
upgrades to increase power and improve drivability. It retains its
original matching-numbers 426ci engine upgraded with BigStuff 3
electronic fuel-injection using modified 6.4-liter HEMI injectors,
hydraulic roller cam and custom pistons. The Carter AFB carburetors
are modified for air-intake only and it is fired with an MSD 6
ignition system. The engine makes a dyno-tested 535hp and 532
ft/lbs of torque and the chassis dyno shows 375hp and 404 ft/lbs of
torque at the wheels. The factory D32 heavy-duty automatic
transmission was upgraded with a Keisler TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed
manual transmission with a pistol-grip shifter. The rear axle is a
Dana 60 with 3.73 gears. An upgraded black anodized aluminum
radiator keeps the engine cool. Spent gases exit through a set of
long-tube headers feeding a dual exhaust system. The exterior,
originally (EW1) Spinnaker White, was professionally finished in
HEMI Orange. This highly optioned E74 426 HEMI dual 4-barrel V8
Mopar includes an N96 fresh-air Shaker hood, power steering, power
disc brakes, bucket seats, Rallye instrument cluster with N85
tachometer, center console with wood grain, hood tie-down pins and
an N41 dual exhaust with N42 chrome tips. The sale includes two
