Boat comes with a trailer, will not separate the two. The boat could use some work but overall this is not a big restoration project. She had an extensive refit in about 2000. In that refit the entire main mast, boom, and all the main mast rigging were replaced, all-aluminum. The sails are all in good condition (not original), the entire electrical system was replaced and a new Atomic diesel 4 cylinder, drive shaft, transmission, propeller, diesel tank, and duel filter system were installed. A new freshwater tank system was also installed. A new stove, heater and gas system were installed. I have sailed this boat since 2007. It is very solid. It also sits on a trailer I bought new for it in 2007, Custom Boat Trailer Tuff Trailer Inc., that has about 200 miles on it. It has never been backed into salt water. I used it to haul the boat to the local boatyard and back. The boat has to be picked off the trailer by a crane. In short, the interior bright work is all in good condition, as is the condition of the interior cabin for the most part. The forward cabin interior needs some work. The exterior teak is all grey and weathered but 99% intact (not rotten or ruined). I always just oiled it. I am an interior brightwork guy, but it is just too much work to maintain exterior bright work out here in the northwest. About 95% of the teak deck is good. The area in front of the forward cabin needs work but is still very solid. The main mast, boom, and main mast standing rigging are all in good shape (all new from 2000), and nothing should need replacing. The Mizzen and Mizzen boom are wood (original) but are also in decent and functional condition (do not need replacing). The trailer is in good condition. I last had it in the water here in the San Juan Islands of WA in 2019. It is sitting jacked up and covered on its trailer next to my barn. At this point, if I were to put it in I would crank over the engine clean it up, paint the bottom, and launch it as is and it would all work. Cricket is a wonderful very sturdy boat to sail with a good design and is very well-balanced. As noted above though this boat was built in 1970. It is easier to be honest with an old boat, I will tell you what I know and what I don't know. The buyer will either want it or not. Please e-mail with any further questions.16,240 lb.
