Restoration just completed on this 1969 TR6C. Engine and transmission restored with pistons, rings, valves, guides, springs, oil pump, cases not split. Transmission removed and inspected with worn parts replaced. When possible new old stock original Triumph or LF Harris parts were used. Almost everything you see except for the engine and frame are new. I bought this bike 5 years ago as part of a large collection of parts and two other bikes from an elderly long time collector who was getting rid of everything he had. The other two bikes were complete but this one was just the engine, frame and front wheel and forks. The engine and frame were matching numbers and it came with a clear title. Because Scramblers are so much more rare than Bonnevilles I decided that it was worth bring her back to life. I spent two years searching for all the parts needed to put it back together. The paint work was done by a protege of Don Hutchison the Triumph paint guru. (Don retired) so the colors and stripe placement are correct. The bike starts runs and rides just as it good as it looks and everything works as it should. I've ridden it 3 times since the restoration just to make sure everything functions properly and make final adjustments. This bike can be ridden and enjoyed or just added to your collection. It will need to be broken-in with easy riding for about 3 tanks of gas to insure proper seating of the piston rings. It's really cool to ride a bike that feels new and tight, almost like turning back the clock to 1969. Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility but I can help on my end and recommend shippers. No deposit is required but payment in full is due within 3 business days after the end of the auction. Any form of payment is accepted as long as it clears before the bike leaves. Bank wire transfer is preferred. If you have any questions please message or call. 22.
