1969 Suzuki T-250 Hustler 2 stroke classic street bike with 6-speed transmission with 7,822 original miles. This bike was parked for many years and was recently repainted as close as possible to the original color, Mesa Orange, within the last year. Frame was touch-up painted when the motorcycle was disassembled and renovated. Bike is as close to original as they come for the year. New parts include: new gearbox oil, tires, tubes, rim guards, various bulbs, battery, points, condensers, plugs, spark plug wires and caps, carburetor tuning and cleaning, gas tank rust removal, fuel petcock, fuel lines, foot peg rubbers, battery box clamp, professional paint job on tank and side covers, repair manual and parts manual, extra set of OEM Mikuni VM 24 carburetors, battery cables, gas tank rubber mounts, choke levers, gas cap seal, new rear shocks and kick start rubber. Engine was degreased and polished. Surface rust was tediously removed from all chrome parts. Brakes drums and shoes were cleaned, both front and back. Chain was soaked in lubricant and penetrating oil. Cables were lubricated. The bike runs good. It starts well and the clutch and transmission shift smoothly. The bike has been ridden about 14 miles since I have renovated it. During the last trial ride, I noticed some fuel leaking from the overflow of right carburetor. I believe the float is either sticking or the valve might have some debris stuck in it. I do have extra set of carburetors that go with the sale. Also, It has been my intent to replace the fork oil. I just haven't been able to get to that yet. I do have the fork oil for that project which will go along with the sale of the bike along with a box of miscellaneous parts as well. The handlebar light switch works but should be taken apart to clean the contacts. It is not a difficult job. If it was summer, I would tackle these minor issues; however, it is too cold in northern Maine to take care of these issues this time of year. This is a nice vintage bike and I hate to part with it but I don't have the time to enjoy it. The fun for me is to bring things back to life. The bike is sold as is, where is, and with a Bill of Sale. Maine is not a state that requires a vehicle be titled when it is older than 1995 vintage. The frame number on this bike is T5 and the engine number is 11947. This is an early vintage Hustler motorcycle and is very collectible. The paint is new and the chrome is not perfect but is very presentable. This is a nice vintage motorcycle that gets favorable comments and double takes. The prospective buyer will be responsible for shipping and logistics. I am retired and am available to assist at my end. The bike is stored in my garage. A $500 deposit if required and the balance of the purchase price is due before the bike leaves the premises.
