Built by Weaver Customs, this 1969 International Scout is powered
by a new GM crate 6.2-liter engine with twin 68mm turbos, backed by
a 4L80E transmission. The Scout sits on a custom chassis with an
independent front and a 9-inch Ford rear end and RideTech
adjustable coilovers. Stopping power comes from a 14-inch 6/4
piston Wilwood tucked behind Detroit Steel wheels. This steel
wide-body custom Scout was converted into a truck still with a
removable top. The exterior of this Scout was painted with Axalta
in GM Arctic White with POR-15 Matte Clear. The bed is all
hand-fabricated and accented by zebrawood. The front and rear of
the truck are completely restyled. A multitude of custom-designed
and billet pieces adorn the truck, including the grille, hood
scoops, radiator shroud, taillight bezels, door hinges and gas cap.
The interior features Bluetooth KICKER audio, Hyde's Leather by
Innovative Custom Interiors, Dakota Digital gauges, an Ididit
steering column and a Vintage Air system tied together by an
American Autowire harness. This truck debuted at the 2023 Hot Rod
Power Tour, was featured at ProSlat Garage's display in SEMA 2023
and was in the December issue of Street Trucks magazine. ** PREVIEW
