Thank you for your understanding---Up for auction at no reserve is a vintage, dual axle 1969 31' Airstream International Sovereign. The Sovereign model is known as the largest Airstream travel trailer available at the time. It is distinguished from the Ambassador and Overlander models by its slightly larger and more spacious rear bathroom with a tub, full kitchen with a stove and a small fridge, two twins in the mid section, double sink, an additional 4 top stove, and the space for a dinette in the front. With a total length of 31 feet, this Airstream would be great for camping or as an Airbnb. The exterior aluminum on this Airstream has practically no dents, which is very rare for a camper of this age. Only very minor dings, scuffs and scrapes are visible on the aluminum, and some minor denting on the front passenger's side (visible in pictures). The previous owner began to strip the clear coat, which is why you can see some marking on the sides. This is a good candidate to finish stripping the clear coat and polish. The aluminum is really in excellent shape overall! It also has a below average amount of rock chips and dents around the lower aluminum underbelly paneling, which is barely notieceable. The underbelly is completely intact. It does have early signs of rear frame sag that will need to be addressed (although the frame is still pretty solid). Overall, the body and underbelly are in great shape for the age of the camper. This camper will need new tires. The front Driver's side corner window was replaced with plexiglass. It is missing most of the light covers, which we can replace for $10 each if you need us to. The trim over the driver's side wheel well is missing, as are the original hubcaps. The subfloor is rotted in the front, middle section, and rear bathroom, and will need a lot of subfloor replaced. We peeled up some of the old tiles to expose the subfloor because it was soft in these areas. We did not test the onboard electric and associated appliances. All of the original systems are still in place, which is rare for a 54 year old camper. This is an excellent candidate for a light or full restoration!Ideally, we are looking for a client that wants to work with us to restore this camper. Our shop can handle replacing the subfloor, deep cleaning & painting the interior, replacing the tires, and doing any other repairs that are needed. We can install new furniture and appliances for the right customer. Keep in mind that our labor charge is $100/hour.
