*** This early FJ 40 Cruiser is an initial Arizona car and has not suffered the rust usual with these trucks. I initially prepared to just clean up the original paint & & make a great motorist out of it but I actually took pleasure in working on the truck & & ended up going the extra mile on it. Right here's a run-down of the automobiles condition *** Exterior: Stunning. Cruiser is very clean & & gets heaps of compliments when I have it out of the garage. I had it repainted the original Tan color that is so popular with these cruisers. I would give the paint a 9 from 10. I stuck to the original symbols as much as possible - the hood, grill & & side emblems are initial - the rear emblems are replacements. The tail lights have been replaced. I was able to keep the initial front turn signals & & parking light lenses. The body was eliminated from the frame and the underside of the taxicab was repainted with a rubberized undercoating. The chassis was cleaned individually, acid washed then repainted with rust-inhibitor paint NO rust to be found anywhere. There's one little area in the paint that didn't get sufficient attention @ the Left Rear Corner (visualized). That corner has some light body work that wasnt prepped completely. The rest of the body is straight and clean. Interior: Beautiful condition and absolutely redone. All brand-new Seats front and rear consisting of Foam and Covers expertly set up. Carpet, Seat Belts & & Paint all new. The top dashboard pad is a re-covered original. The headliner set up is fresh & & not perfectly smooth (envisioned) but in outstanding condition. This was done skillfully and I was informed the blemishes with cure with time.
