This re-creation of a 1968 Shelby GT350 was built for and donated

　　to the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at Northeast Texas

　　Community College by Barry Smith, owner of Legendary GT

　　Continuation Cars in Roaring Springs, PA. This Continuation-series

　　Shelby GT350 is built from the original 1960s-era Mustang, with

　　factory VIN and original title. The car was stripped to bare metal

　　for transformation into the Shelby GT350 model; built in the same

　　spirit as those that won the FIA Sports Car World Championship in

　　1965 and dominated racing in the period. The body is finished in

　　Wimbledon White and has all-new fiberglass and steel panels,

　　including reinforced shock towers and Shelby-specific parts. The

　　engine is a 302 Ford small-block with a 4-speed Toploader manual

　　transmission. The parts used to complete the driveline/unibody

　　include (but are not limited to) the differential, brake system,

　　all suspension parts, gas tank, fuel system parts, cooling system

　　and wiring harness, and are either New Old Stock, refurbished

　　originals or remanufactured. The final assembly of the vehicle

　　needed parts unique only to Shelby, including Shelby wheels, tires,

　　convertible top parts, windshields, side windows, window hardware,

　　dash gauge cluster, console, taillight assembly, fog lights,

　　grille, emblems, seats, carpeting, body seals, roll bar, steering
