This vintage 1967 Sears Allstate 250 motorcycle is a rare find and a great addition to any collection, perfect for the Moto Giro type events. The most interesting part is most likely its a 250cc split single ("twingle) 2 stroke engine which makes it exceptionally smooth running and torquey for a 2 stroke. I don't think you will find a nicer version out there. It was completely gone through by me and everything except for the motor (more on the engine later) was re-built and re-furbished. New ignition coil, wiring harness, points, re-lined brake shoes, new control cables new wheel bearing, fork and shock oil, powder coated frame, new chain and sprockets, new rubber pieces everywhere etc. The tires are also relatively new. odometer is just over 5,000 miles but the motor has probably half that since being cleaned up and new seals put it. Everything else was in great condition, but be advised the motor and frame are not matching numbers. Has some patina and the chrome on the wheel rims in particular have seen better days, but this is a time capsule and I didn't want to over-restore it. Runs well, although requires a bit of a start routine, especially when cold and needs some warming up before idling cleanly. Sale includes box of both NOS parts, new reproduction parts, electronic voltage regulator, new brake shoes (less squeaky), spare rear hub/sprocket and a service manual.
