This 16 foot “toaster model” vintage camper has undergone a complete off frame restoration. I purchased it in February, 2018. The project was started in earnest in October, 2019 and completed in December, 2020. The technician that put it “all back together” has 45 years experience in the RV business. He is very knowledgeable, and treated it as if it was his own, together, along with his son-in-law we finished it out to the highest specs. It is virtually a brand new build. I have extensive photos of before/during/after the restoration, and am happy to share any and all of them with you! After an exhaustive search (including at the RV Hall of Fame) trying to learn about the manufacturer, I only know of 5 of these White Star’s. Following is a brief description of the work done on the camper and some of the many things purchased for it: I replaced the 7 way plug when I picked it up. It comes with a sway bar hitch that works like a charm. It pulls very true down the road.It was taken down to the frame. It is insulated with foam board, reflectix and Tyvek. There are 2 coats of polyurethane on the Birch walls and ceiling. It has all new skins, the roof is one piece, it comes down about half way on the front and back. The skins are white, and feature a custom wrap in turquoise and red that goes all around the camper. There are no skylights, vents or other cuts in the ceiling. All the “J rails” were custom fabricated to fit the camper. I had the decals custom made working from the existing ones on the front and back of the camper. The door was completely custom built. It has drip rails on the front window and over the door. The jalousie windows are original. It has new wheels, a new axel, tires and brakes. In March, 2023 I had a new Camco Catalytic Safety Heater and all new gas lines installed that keep it toasty! It comes with one full propane tank. It has a Wi-Fi ready Friedrich air conditioner that keeps it crisp and cold. It has all new wiring, breaker box and plumbing. There is a new 6 gallon AO Smith Signature water heater. There is an outside light by the door, along with a removable Heim Vision Freed 3 security camera. It has a vintage “looking” 3.2 cu ft Frigidaire refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, and a 700 watt Hamilton Beach microwave. It has a top of the line Thetford 565 Series Porta Potti. The cabinets are solid wood and custom made for the camper. The counter top and dinette table are both custom made to fit, and covered with a vintage style laminate. The table drops down to make another sleeping area. The two benches that make up the dinette lift up for storage. The cushions were custom made, sections of the fabric were painted to match the camper. There are 3 overhead cabinets above the dinette. The sink is original! It has a new faucet and drain. There are 4 good size drawers, and 3 over head cabinets in the kitchen. There is a large compartment over the microwave, and a small closet next to the refrigerator. There is a custom ordered shower and pan, along with a new shower head, faucet and drain. It also features a good quality full length mirror on the inside of the door. There are 2 LED ceiling lights with a dimmer, they provide ample light for the camper. There is a nice 7” twin xl mattress, it comes with linens. There is a large amount of storage under the bed. It has a 22” wall mounted swivel LG LED TV.It has a First Alert smoke alarm and a Universal carbon monoxide alarm.
