1966 Sears Gilera 106SS. The Motorcycle as Art, Beautifully Designed, Gilera Motorcycles were Made in Italy in the 60s and were widely considered a more affordable Option to the Ducati's being Manufactured at the same time and in the same place. A Ducati Mach One, Diana or Turismo Look Very Similar to this Motorcycle. Gilera Partnered with Sears in the United States to Market these and a Few Other Models through Sears Stores. This One is a Matching Numbers Bike as Shown and has Been Stored in a Collection the Last Several Years. It Shows 5197 Miles but the Odometer is Not Currently Working. It's a Great Runner, Starts Easily and Runs Through the Gears Strong. The Original Tool Kit is Included as Shown. The Taillight Lens was Cracked Years ago as Shown in Pictures. The Fork Gators or Dust Covers are Separated as Shown in Pictures. The Seat was Separating at the Rear and has Been Gorilla Taped as Shown. The Front of the Seat is Separating but Does not Cause any Issues. The Tires are Possibly Original or at Least Period Correct and a bit dry, so they will work for short rides, which is what it has been used for in recent years. The Rims have some Corrosion on them as Shown. The Oil was Changed Recently, The Inside of the Gas Tank is Clean and the Outside has Been Painted Recently with Brand New Petcocks as in Pictures.
