This is a great trombone. I'm only selling it because I recently purchased another one that is about 10 years older. I had one before, sold it, and regretted that decision almost immediately so I bought this one. The slide was serviced earlier this year by Merlin Grady in Waterloo, Iowa, and works impeccably. I think good old Trombotine and a spray water bottle works best with these King slides for some reason. I've been using this horn in a Chicago tribute band and I think there's nothing better to get that Pankow sound. You can push these sterling silver bells as hard as you want to and the tone never loses its core. I think Jimmy sounds best when he plays his Silversonic 2B and 3B.You can see everything in the photos. The case is certainly from the same era as the horn, if not the original. I think the silver-plated lyre is probably something that might have come with this trombone originally. The M21 mouthpiece is not original to this horn but is from the same era as well. You can really get that JJ sound with this mouthpiece. Thanks for looking, and good luck!
