  Details

This 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 is powered by a robust inline six-cylinder engine equipped with twin SU carburetors. This engine channels its power to the rear wheels through an electric overdrive-equipped four-speed manual gearbox. This sleek roadster was repainted a shade of white in 2001 and sports a black convertible top. The contrasting interior features red leather upholstery and carpet, as well as a stately wood grain instrumentation and glove box panel. This British 60s classic comes equipped with front disc brakes, fog lamps, an aluminum radiator, and the tail reflectors have been converted to brake lights. Amenities include a wood Lecarra steering wheel, radio, ashtray, and fan. The odometer shows 57,514 miles, but the true mileage is unknown. The current owner purchased the car about a year ago and resides in Miami, Florida.

This cared-for MKIII is represented well in the third-party photos taken. The cars exterior is still in good condition, considering its age. The paint shows well, with the exception of some bubbling on the lower right rear. The chrome bumpers are bright and in good condition, and the convertible top is clean and supple. A third-party inspection was conducted and revealed some minor flaws in the cabin. The horn is reported to be inoperable, as well as the radio and passenger seat adjustment lever. No irregularities were reported after a road test was performed. A full-size spare tire is included with the car.

This Austin-Healey is being sold through a CLASSIC.COM Pro and is located in Miami, Florida.
