A beautifully restored late model MGA with the most powerful of the 'A' pushrod engines, the high compression 1622cc unit. Runs perfectly, no smoke, 65 psi oil pressure, 145-150 psi compression in every cylinder, fitted with new Weber carb (or can refit original SU carbs), Malloyr distributor......perfect running. New top, good side curtains, all new interior, nicely detailed dashboard, almost all new chrome, wirng looks fine, everything works, new wood floors.........painted inside the trunk, behind the seats, a lot of nice details. HUGE file of new parts acquired by last (and now, deceased) owner. All in all, a nice ready-to-go MGA 1600 Mk II in excellent driving and esthetic condition. The Mk IIs are the rarest standard MGAs and offer the largest displacement of any MGA built. Their high compression (8.9:1) engine gives 100+ mph performance coupled to the excellence of MGA's steering, handling, ride, and braking. With one of the prettiest, most flowing body styales of any sports car. Fortunately, the popularity of MGAs has made parts availability widespread and remarkably inexpensive.....front bumper is $119 and rear $89 (from Moss Motors), a new generator retails for $159 and disc rotors $59. Moss even sells brand new calipers for a mere $99 each. So, 'keeping' an MGA is a snap. If you like the light pimrose color, you will not be disappointed with anyting on this car. It really is a lovely example.
