MARTIN D12-20 12 STRING 12 FRET DREADNOUGHT GUITAR.
THIS ONE IS AN INTERESTING PIECE FOR SURE.
CLEARLY A MARTIN GUITAR WITH D12-20 STAMPED ON THE NECK BLOCK IN TYPICAL MARTIN FASHION.
INSIDE THE GUITAR IS STAMPED R&D # 24.
HEADSTOCK DOES NOT SAY MARTIN ON IT.
MAY HAVE BEEN A VERY EARLY PROTOTYPE GUITAR OR A MARTIN EMPLOYEE CUSTOM THING.
ANYBODY WHO KNOWS THESE GUITARS WILL RECOGNIZE IT INSTANTLY AS A MARTIN.
EVEN HAS THE TYPICAL PICKGUARD SHRINKAGE FAMOUS ON 60'S AND 70'S MARTINS.
ADDITIONALLY THERE IS A 2 INCH PATCH ON THE SIDE WHERE SOMEONE PROBABLY PUT A JACK IN.
PLAYS WELL BUT ACTION IS A LITTLE HIGH AS EXPECTED ON THIS ERA MARTIN, ESPECIALLY A 12 STRING.
COMES WITH FUNCTIONAL HARDSHELL CASE THAT SHOWS ITS AGE.
PRICED ACCORDINGLY AND PRICED TO SELL.
