This Swiss mantel clock was a gift from my great-grandmother to my grandparents. They have both passed away now, and we have decided the clock should have a new home. It has an engraved plate attached to the front of the base, which can be removed if desired. The round Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers & numerals, is in great condition, as are the original gold hands. The rear bellows housing is in great condition with no scratches, cracks or discoloration. The gold plated finish on the exterior is in near perfect condition with no scratching, and only minor wear, which was not repaired in order to leave the clock in its authentic, vintage condition. There are no stress fractures on the base either. All of the fixed glass panels have no chips or damage. The leveling bubble in the front base is in perfect condition, and is functioning properly. It comes with the original two piece LeCoultre signed styrofoam box & green strap, as well as a beautifully finished leveling shelf to use instead of a mantel, if desired. The leveling bubble in the shelf is fine and functions properly.
