Description

A classic car that grabs a lot of attention, this car is sure to start a conversation. The car is mostly all original, except for the radio. The chrome still shines bright in the sunlight. The car is finished in an acrylic paint finish that is in great condition with few where the paint is slightly cracking. Interior is a cloth type, with a blue finish that is on the dash, door panels, headliner and carpet. Both headliner and carpet are in excellent condition. Headliner is not sagging and carpet is pretty clean. The two front seats move like they should and fold forward. The back seat can also move down to provide more cargo space. Drivers side arm rest is missing a screw, which allows it to move down. In the trunk, which is in the front of the car, is pretty big. The heater can be seen on the left of the trunk. It locks smoothly and closes nicely. Inside the trunk are a few spear parts. Weather stripping, chrome moldings and other parts are also included. The outside of the car is complete, with nothing missing. The hubcaps are in great condition and are also original to the car, along with the rims. The engine is located in the rear of the car. The engine has 6 cylinders and produces 95 horsepower. Transmission is the 2-speed Powerglide Automatic. A fast little car that can get roughly 25-30 miles per gallon!

Like every older car, they are bound to not be perfect. The car currently has a fuel issue. It previously has older fuel in the system. Since then, new fuel has been placed in the system, along with fuel treatment to help dissolve any residue that resides in it. Because of this, the car will stall at random times, due to the fuel getting clogged by these deposits. The car will start and idle and can be driven occasionally. Previous owners tried to install a radio, which has left some of the wiring a mess under the dash. Both fuel gauge, speedometer, turn signals and odometer have been affected. Passenger side door is hard to both open and shut. Drivers side door opens and shuts smoothly and can lock, but the outside lock has become loose recently. The belt that drives the car should be replaced soon, as it has a slight tear. The tires on this car are old, and would need to be replaced. The rim size is 13 inches. Slight rust is present under the drivers seat.

With some TLC, this car can be a great little driver that would attract a lot of attention, as it isn't the usual classic car. And most people are amazed that the engine is in the back, much like the VW bug. The pictures are very detailed, but I have many more. If the pictures that I have are not what you are looking for, I will take more if they are needed.
