ALWAYS in California, body off/frame up restoration a few years ago, completely overhauled engine and transmission, new clutch, new wiring harness and mostly new electrics, rebuilt suspension and brakes, new exhaust, excellent mechanicals. Body stripped to bare metal and resprayed, all new interior, very nicely detailed engine bay and dashboard, mostly new switches, all working gauges, carpeted trunk, mostly new chrome, new top and tonneau, stereo/cd, what else is left? Now, we sold this car to an elderely fellow in Maine six years ago. According to his son in law, it was driven 190 miles from our office to the owner, MAYBE 150 miles in six years, and just recently, 190 miles back to our company. And in those six years, alas, a few bubbles in the paint have developed (along the end of one side of the bonnet), nothing serious, we would be more than happy to respray the small area. Otherwise, a nearly 200 mile in 95 degree temperature....made it effortlessly. And, thus, I would suspect this is ready to drive anywhere....maybe even back to California! Whatever, wherever, it is a genuinely beautiful MGA and ready for use, enjoyment, and shows.
